A few times a year in our ZenClub we do our 21 Day Complaint Free Challenge. This challenge was inspired by Will Bowen. The purpose of this challenge is to bring awareness to how often we truly complain, catch ourselves, and shift the habit into an empowering one.
Complaining does nothing but put negative energy into your surroundings. And we often are so unaware that we are even complaining at all!
The way this challenge works is simple. Take notice of any time you complain. When you do notice, you will simply start the challenge over from day one. It works best with an accountability partner to keep you in line, especially when you’re tempted to bargain with yourself about what a complaint truly is. Initially it may seem challenging, but by the end you will have created new neural pathways that tell you “complaining is not ok.”
